To all people of Asansol who live and love this City, my plea is that only by saying I love you Asansol, will never develop this region. So always be responsive with your demand for civic amenities, education, health and other infrastructure facilities like other developed Cities in India and compell the right authorities to perform their work. At this Moment, pls raise your voice for New Asansol District with Asansol as headquarter new PINCODE system for whole District and like Kolkata, whole district as Asansol Mega City.

Recently Asansol has been declared as seperate district with Asansol subdivision and part of Durgapur Subdivision. We demand the name of district should be remain as Asansol and as headquarter. A group from Durgapur is trying to shift it to durgapur. They must know Durgapur is merely a part of Asansol urban aglommeration and included in the Asansol metropolitan area. Also Central Gov. has declared Asansol as mission city which include township of Raniganj, Jamuria, Chittaranjan, Kulti and Durgapur for JNNURM projects. The previous State Gov. discriminate the Asansol Municipal Corporation , Kulti and Raniganj area for last 34 years, Now a new Gov. has come, they should give priority to promote all the neglected places. And all aware people from Asansol should raise the voice against further discrimination for this second largest and Metro city of West Bengal.

I am resident of hussain nagar burnpur Rahmat Nagar high school is the only one school in urdu for girls. The area has a huge population of urdu knowers but the admin is not sincere to educate the community .The school has such a gathering of students like general compartment of railways in festive season
