I graduated from this college in 1989 (mobile no.9432790659). My favourite language being English, I still miss S.C.Chatterjee, Prof. of English, B.C.College, Asansol. I also greatly miss Prof. Ashis Dutta, a great teacher of History.All my batch-mates are requested to contact me over phone to re-stitch unity, if they really want.

I was student of this school from 1981 to 1984 (2nd - 4th Std.). I can remember Yadav sir and Madam (school teacher - I can't remeberher her name). I have good friend like Sanjya , Rajendra , Gande , Ashok. Almost after 26 years , I am revisiting to my memory. I don't know any one will remember me. If any one can , pls call 09923093082

This is the biggest mosque in rahmat nagar,most of the people from Rahmat Nagar,naya basti,4 no ward prefer to pray here but last Ramadan when i went there i found that 2 group of people are just like kids playing :) with this masjid for taravi namaz. Aftre this incident I realize that name of this area should be Qayamat Nagar not Rahmat nagar.

It used to be called Madath Brothers Before '47 and ran by Americans.Joginder Atwal's family bought and changed the name.They used to be contractor with the railways.The another shop was The Gregories ran by an Armenian family the also sold the business.The same building where on the top floor Park hotel used to be 40s.So many sweet memories I have.

I was a student in this school since 43 for 7 years.It used to be best school in Bengal.The head was Sir Haridas Goswami.No one failed in Matriculation exam.We had also science side that was B final.Till today I can remember the names of nearly all the teachers.We are very proud that we belong to this school.The only school in that period which had science lab and practical wood and metal work.Also fine arts dept ran by the famous art teacher who later became the head of Arts in santiniketon Mr Bagchi.

The road used to be called Nurudeen Mistri Road,and at the end near G.T road there was Mazumder photographic Studio and it was famous.Santosh da and His mamas were running the business.It was very popular during the war time by all the American and the British soldiers. My 1st camera which was presanted to me by Ramu da of P S Jivraj it was a baby Browny camera.

We used to live nearly opposite. In front of our in the courtyard we used have our badminton club. and we used to do Sarassawti puja and musik functions etc.I am talking 40/50s time.

We have witnessed many Ma Durga Pujas in our time and enjoyed. We used to play table tennis in the back room during the holydays.

There is a well in there.During summer lot of local people take watter from there. It is believed the well was from Sershah's time by the G.T.Road.for his soldiers to use and the well never gets dry.

It used to called Indian Institute before and the Durand institute was called european Institute. Subhas institute was ran by Bhunu da who lived in Hutton road.
